I dug into another couple of Boxx kits to have a go at my very first Bird is the Word challenge, the word to use was "future".

Here's what I came up with....

Markets and a Sketch : )

HELOOOOOO lubbly jubbly ladies!!

Hope everyone is absolutely dandy.

I would like to announce I THINK our internet may be fixed.....but I'm not getting my hopes up as it's been playing up so much. I have had a rather productive time not having any internet access though lol

Soooo where on earth do I start?? I've had the BESTEST weekend. I finally had a market stall, and am so chuffed with all the positive feed back from all the lovely market goers.....what a confidence boost! I was so nervous I wouldn't sell anything and no body would like my stuff. My mind is totally buzzing with ideas about tweaking my products, new products to make for the next markets, and lots of stall design ideas.

This was my wee stall.....excuse the not so fab photo...but you get the picture!

I also want to share my Stuck?! Sketches April 15th sketch with you.....

Here is the awesome sketch....

and here is my layout....

I once again used a couple of kits from The Boxx, This years kits have been sooooo AWESOME that I find it impossible to choose from just one kit so I use bits from all of them!!! Also there are a few bits and bobs from older kits as well. Also I've used a gorgeous Lil Red Rocket black and white spotty button and a small vintage boy tag.....gosh I love Shell's products.....sooooo very gorgeous : )

THANKYOU oh so very much for taking the time to have a wee sticky beak at my blog!

A just cos page!

Heya BEAUTIFUL ladies : )

Really hope everyone had a beautiful easter weekend! We hung out together, cooked yummy food, made delicious cocktails.......and I MAY have hogged the guitar hero........

I really need to start scrapping just for me again....make it about the pure joy of it! I had a good hunt around on the net last night and found some fab challenges.

My first place I ALWAYS look for a challenge is the boxx, there is a monthly sketch challenge as well as fortnightly challenges. Not only are the challenges always awesome, but the boxx forum is just the best!!! There is no pressure at all, and the ladies are just so darn encouraging and GORGEOUS.....Love ya Boxx Ladies!

So when I first saw Julie Wink's sketch for April, I must admit I was a little scared. After printing it out and playing around with some papers and embellies....I found it all came together much easier than I thought.....it was goo to have been pushed out of my comfort zone. Thanks Jules!!!

Here is the sketch....

Here is what I came up with. I've used lot's of random bit's and bobs. The gorgeous rolled flower is from the Amazing Anita Tillman, thanks again lubbly lady : ) The skimmed milk lid is an oldy from lil red rocket, the aqua fimo button is from the chip chop shop and the papers are from a couple of this years Boxx Kits.

and a wee close up....

I reaaaalllllllllllllllly appreciate your comments.....they just brighten my day!!!

Ya just gots to love a Sketch!

Hey hey hey!

It's few and far between blog posts for me these days, life is full to the brim with all sorts of goings on : )
We have had a lovely break in Perth celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary. We stayed at Fawkes house B&B in the Perth Hills.....oh me oh my were we spoilt. Gosh it was so delightful! Jeans are feeling a wee bit tight as we might have over indulged...just a little bit...ahem....at a french patisserie.......Can I say Chocolate Eclairs and Macarons!!!

If my internet stalking seems a bit sporadic it's because....it....well...is. We have had a dodgy internet connection since before Christmas last year, our home phone doesn't work at all and our internet is hit and miss. I would like to thank Telstra for their ongoing commitment to consistently awful service. If only we had other service providers here!

I am busily sewing like a mad women creating bits and bobs for the upcoming Port Hedland Courthouse Art Gallery markets. SOOOOO excited.... rather nervous! Am so glad I made the decision to not re-open my online store yet as it has given me the chance to really think about my product and develop my skills....I am happy to say I am now quite apt at hand sewing.....which means Mr Hot Glue Gun (My Nemesis) is rarely used.....TAKE THAT burner of finger tips. I did an awesome Market stall/Product development course a couple of weekends ago. It ran for 2 days and man I got so much out of it! It was run by Helena Bogucki, creator of the most beautiful jewellery pieces & Isobel Macaulay from Pinch and Spoon, creator of exquisite Ladies, Bridal and Girls fashion pieces...These ladies were so generous in sharing their industry knowledge as well as personal stories of how they developed their own business. It was what I needed to realise what products I was comfortable making, and what products I was making as I thought thats what I should be making.....feeling so much freer to go forth and create whatever my creative mojo tells me too : )

ANYHOO I have digressed.....again.....

I actually started writing this post to share with you the April 1st Sketch for Stuck?!, here is the sketch......

I was FLAT out busy when I went to do this sketch.....I am so glad I subscribe to The Boxx kits....they were a godsend.....I just dove in to my pizza box filled with the last three months kits and happily scrapped away....no frustrating paper co ordinating or embelly searching in sight! I nearly gave up my subscriptions last year as we are trying to save our dollars....I am SO GLAD I didn't cancel my subscription...these are value packed and if I may say so myself.....FREAKIN awesome : )

Here's my interpretation of the sketch....

Well thanks for checking out my blog....excuse the rambling on....it's a habit I refuse to give up...like chocolate.....
