Fly!

Aloha!

Hope everyone has had a FAB weekend and has a super duper awesome week!

I'm a bit excited today as we are popping down to perth to visit my mum while hubby does some training.

And if you're reading this Shazzy, Zoe & Sophie...big squishy hugs and loves to you xox

Righto.....I have a scrappy share today. This is a just cos layout.
I've been having a play with the Kaisercraft "Save the Date" range. Usually I'm not super keen on really "themed" ranges, but this one really caught my eye. The colours are fab and all the embellishments & stickers etc that come with the range are super cute.

I'm really loving layering pennant/banners at the moment...as well as loving "splats" on my page. I've had a couple people ask how to do them, my2angels has a tutorial HERE on how to do them : )

How cute are these cabochons over the save the date heart rubons!

Layers, layers , layers........

Here is a list of products I used:

- Kaisercraft "Save The Date" Papers, Aplha Stickers, Rubons Stickers & Pennant/Banners.
-Distress Stain in "Mustard Seed" for splats.
-Glimmer Glaze in "Oil Slick" for black paint splatters.
-Glimmer Glam in "mermaid" for stamped circles.
- Manila tag.
-Scrapware "ATC Frame". Which I painted with white paint and doodled on.
-White scalloped edge felt frame.
-Transparent glass Cabochons.
-Black and White spotted acrylic button.
-Small holed red acrylic button.
-Staz on ink pad in Jet black.
-Baker's Twine in Teal & White.
-Tim holtz paper rosette die.
-black cotton thread.
-black pilot permaball pen.
-Chevron washi tape.

Well I best be getting back to packing!

Thankyou so much for having a peek at my blog

STB-November

Another day.....Another scrappy challenge to share!

It's been so very long since I've played along at Scrap the Boys. I'm a big fan of their fun and funky challenges! I so totally loved playing along with the november challenge, I will endeavour to play along again next month!

Sooooooo the November challenge is a colour challenge:

Here is what I came up with:

A close-up (I always save funky labels and tags....they are fab for scrapping):

Another close-up. I'm loving using sewing thread.....adds an awesome texture to the page, but is more subtle than twine.

Well since I put off all the chores yesterday.....I best get them done today. The quicker I finish....the sooner I can get scrapping again!

Thanks for visiting my blog :D

OUAS - November Challenge

Hello lovely bloggy visitors!

After a huge year of markets I've had hardly anytime for scrapping, now that the market season is over, I'm crossing my fingers and toes that I get to catch up on all things scrappy!

I so enjoyed last months Once Upon a Sketch Challenge, that I've played along again this month. Man the DT is super inspiring.

The sketch for this month is:
I have rotated and flipped it

The theme for this month is: Anything Goes!

I really wanted to do a layout about the markets I have been doing this year as they have meant so much to me.
I've used lot's of Sassafras Lass (which I'm trying not to hoard), as well as some October afternoon. I got the most of the flowers from Caramelos on etsy.

A close-up of all the flowers, which I don't often use so I really enjoyed creating this layout!

Another close up. The photo is mounted on a SMASH calendar pocket, I have written the journalling on journalling block, and have tucked it into the pocket. The journalling reads: "I cannot express what being able to participate in this year's west end markets has meant for me. I have gained confidence, a renewed sense of self & positive self esteem. As well as a whole bunch of beautiful souls I am blessed to call my friends. I'm so thankful for this experience".

Well I have so much chores to do, but I'm thinking I might just get into some more scrapping!

Thankyou so much for visiting my blog!
