Polka Dot Kits = Fun : )

Heya Lubbly Jubblies : )

Sooooo I have kinda had a mojo that seems to be absent quite alot these days.....

I was sitting at my scrappy desk on the weekend TRYING to get the creative juices flowing to get some dt work done.....I mean the dt work I had to do was FAB....I SHOULD have been so inspired and awesomely creative...BUT...NOPE....the juices weren't flowing.....

Sooooo there I was sitting there going.....Oh CRAP......and then.....I looked over and saw the little pizza box sitting quietly (yes quietly...pizza boxes can be very loud you know) all by itself.....so I went over and had a peep inside....and low and behold there was The Polka Dot Place kit (Apple Blossom Place) I'd recieved earlier on in the week.....

It spoke to me....it said.....play with me....you don't need to think...I am already co-ordinated......I'm a no brainer.....

And I went....."OH NO I'm going BONKERS.....the kit is talking to me"....but I threw caution to the wind.....crazy or not I wanted to create....AND I DID.....

So THANKS BRIDGE.....your kit saved the day.....

Here's what I did....and let me tell you I have enough left over for ATLEAST 2 more lo's and a few cards....how cool is that?

Bridge's AWESOME handmade flowers (LOVE how there is always atleast one hand made goody in these kits)...oh and fabric....they always have some neato fabric in them....

Layers yeah baby yeah....

And Another....the little alpha stickers were so cool.....used them as a border down one side of the page...then stitched over the top....

More handmade flowery goodness : ) Oh and the kit comes with some gorgeous handmade flags too!

More layers...

Well I'm off to clean...YUCK!!! Hopefully after the cleaning....I will get creating cos the juices are flowing again....wooohooo

Oh and my camera DIED today.....soooooo I'm unable to take any photos of lo's......lucky I've already taken photo's of ones I need to post this week...but have no idea what I'll do without a camera.....ARRRGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

5 & Dime is SUPER DUPER : )

How goes everyone today??
I'm REALLY hoping blogger is going to be nice to me and let me do this post.....

Sooooo Tracy from My 2 Angels sent me some October Afternoon 5 & Dime to play with.....THANKYOU Tracy.....I HEART this range sooooo much!!

Sooooo here is what I've come up with......

First up is a lo of Elijah zoom zooming his airoplane : )

I splatterd Marmalade Glimmermist on...cos it's my fave.....I NEED to use it on just about EVERYTHING hehe....

Layers, Layers, Layers.....this range of pp's calls for LOT'S of Layers.....
The red twine looks so cute with the buttons.....which have unfortunately sold out...BUT don't worry...Tracy stocks some FAB buttons in the shop that would be just as awesome : ) Oh and If you want the crinkly effect like I've got on the receipt then just spray with water, scrunch up, un-scrunch then dry off with a heat tool...or let dry naturally.....

More Layers......I sprayed one of the October Afternoon Chippy's, which are sold out.....but check this out for a similar look, with Santa Baby Glimmermist, then inked with an Inkssentials Emboss it Clear pad then embossed with some Zing Rouge Embossing Powder and then finally I ran it through my cuttlebug using a Sissix Texture Fade Embossing Folder in Brickwall......

More embossing with the Brickwall embossing folder....and some texture using some punchinella and some Picket Fence White Distress Crackle Paint....

Ok second lo.....Love this photo of Grammy and Elijah : ) More crazy missting using the Santa Baby Glimmermist....oh and if you want the mist...and not the glimmer...just don't shake it up before you use it : )

Lace and Ric Rac and layering....and Distress Crackle Paint over punchinella

Scrapware Do Hicky Flourish inked with an Inkssentials Emboss it Clear Pad then embossed with Rouge Zing Embossing Powder......I used one of the October Afternoon Rub-Ons on one of Tracy's Pins....

Ok and lastly a CRAZY canvas......

Yes I might have gone a little far with this canvas...just couldn't stop adding to it.....

This was made with LOTS of Glimmermist, Distress Inks, Rub-ons & Distress Crackle Paints.....

And more scrapware goodness....Lucie Torso whos wearing some delightful pearls.....

And thats all folks...thanks so very muchly for having a wee sticky beak at my blog : )

Primaness : )

Helllloooo Dahhhhhlinks....

Soooo a few weeks ago I ordered a whole bunch of Prima and Websters pp's & embellies from My 2 Angels......I had always looked at them and thought oh they are so pretty but too girly...or not my style....then I thought...why not give em a go...why not funk em up.....and so...here is my first Prima NON PRETTY lo : )

For this lo I used the Prima Madeline pp's.....LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

The butterflies are perfect to cut out and doodle on....and of course I used more twirly whirly twine

I have been using the Marmalade Glimmermist on everything.....it's seriously my FAVE mist colour.....and it's a limited addition....sooooo I would hurry up and get some....if you haven't already!! So I've splattered it on my page (no page is complete without a good splatter) and sprayed it on my other FAVE product......Scrapware Do-Hicky Flourish #5.....these are all sorts of awesome.....chop em...use them as a mask...use the chippy backing as a stencil....me oh my they just rock...Oh and the cardboard is Scrapware Correboard Craft Sheets....

Love charms but don't always want the metal look on your page.....one word....PAINT.....I love painting charms.....they look super awesome : ) Here I've painted a Buggy Car Charm with a wee bit of white paint......The Websters fabric tickets add yummy texture to a lo and am so loving there buttons too......these come with funky coloured twine aswell....yay : )

And just so you know.....I've used Websters Trendsetter alpha stickers on the photo and I stitched through some Thickers for the rest of the title....

Thanks so much for having a goosey goosey gander at my scrapping : )

Motherhood is......

Hiya GORGEOUS Ladies : )

Well it's a new month.....and that means....a brand new challenge at Stuff 2 Scrap and here is the challenge set by the Awesome Annmarie.....

This month I thought what better way to celebrate mothers and thank them for everything than to set the challenge about them....
...the details....
- Scrap a layout (or it could be off the page if you really want to), about a mother. It could be you, if you are a mum, your mother, your mother-in-law..... and use a piece of chipboard.........
Entries start now, and will end on the 31st of May........

And this is what I came up with....
It's pretty crazy and randome.....but thats motherhood right?

I used the FABULOUS Leeann Pearce design Build an Owl which I covered in washi tape...I ran some walnut ink lightly over the branch then clear embossed it....I embossed the leaves with green embossing powder....Love the texture it creates : )

Now I want an opinion from you guys......What kinda chippies would you love to see at Stuff 2 Scrap? Are there any designs you can't find and would just LOVE to be able to buy??? Leave me a comment and let me know......

Love and Peace

Positively Playful Pink Paislee : )

Hokey Pokey Ladies....I have Four lo's to show you......you may want to make a cuppa....or beverage of choice.......ie a glass of wine.....looking at you Tracy......Ahem....anyhoo lets get this Pink Paislee Party Started.........

Allllllright The first two lo's I have created......I've used the AWESOME Pink Paislee Daily Junque range....

The Daily Junque range is perfect for layering....there's lot's of awesome ephemera type bits and bobs to cut out and layer layer layer!!!

Isn't the hot air balloon the cutest?? I layered it on top of the "Adventure Card" from the Ephemera pack, I inked around the edges with some Black Soot Distress Ink.....LOVE how it makes stuff just pop off of the page!! Of course I added some fab Twine, chopped up a felt frame.....and popped on some yummo resin flower cabs! Honestly I CANNOT get enough of these three things...they are my go to embellies when I need to add a little somethin somethin!

This Scrapware penny farthing bike is all sorts of AWESOME!! I had to add some doodling....just cos I can.....

More Scrapware goodness...this time I used the "Off" out of the Scrapware Blast Off chippy....
The little alphas are Jenni Bowlin Tiny Circle stickers & the "Adventure" is the other half of the adventure card from the ephemera pack

Ok next up.....more layering goodness on this one.......Can you see the Scrapware large impact alpha chippy I've layered everything on?? I had previously used it for a mask with some glimmermist & it was kinda looking funky soooo I chopped it in half...and VOILA!! Some awesome texture : ) I've layered the title....which I used Thickers for over a Scrapware Journalling Square.....

More Twine of course...and I've actually used the banner flags from the Pink Paislee Hometown Summer Border Pack ....OMG you won't believe how jam packed this pack is with banner stickers!!! It is such AWEOSME value!!!

More layering.....and another one of my FAVES....buttons! I've popped some bling on a Jenni Bowlin Butterfly Sticker.....

Allllllrighty then.....Now we're on to the Pink Paislee Hometown Range! Love this range to...bright and cheery without out making you want to put your sunnies on lol....

Sooooo this range was perfect for some pics of my gorgeous little man enjoying some fruit! Num Num!
I've used one of the banners from the Summer Border Sticker pack as a mask to spray glimmermist over....the watermelon stickers are from the pack too...just chopped up one of the borders....Can you see the peek of the blue felt scroll ribbon popping out....love how it adds instant texture....Oh and the "Summer ABC's" and the little boy circle is from the Hometown Summer Punch Outs Pack...

Another button, gorgeous green Gardenia & a lubbly jubbly Scrapware Cloud Journalling bit!

If you are still with me.......We are on to the last lo.....and this one comes with a little tutorial...HA! and you thought we were nearly finished........

Hokey Pokey.....I've made a little scene here....
I've used MORE Twine & Buttons.....of course! Along with some more bits from the Hometown Summer Punch Outs pack.....Which the sun comes from too...Oh and I LOVE splattering glimmermist.....just unscrew the nozzle and flick mist on with the plastic tube bit thingy...

Love these Scrapware Journal Bits Clouds....I've covered them with some pp, sanded around the edge then stamped with clear embossing ink & embossed with clear embossing powder & sanded around the edges....

For the first flower I sprayed some white mulberry flowers with some glimmermist & doodled around the edges.....I tied Ric-Rac around the flower stems for the leaves...

For the second Flower.....Grab some a Hambly Transparency then trace 2 each of 3 different size cicles....I use whatevers on hand...

Next Cut out with some decorative scissors...

Spray with some Glimmermist

Then using a heat gun dry the mist...as you do this the edges will curl up....

Finally layer them and use a brad to keep them all together...and there you have it a funky, different flower!

Ta-Da!! Flower funness : )

If you've made it this far...YOU ROCK!!

Love and Peace xox
