My 2 Angels Christmas Yummyness!!!

Hey hey hey Ladies : )

Well even though I haven't officially got an assignment for my new possie on the My 2 Angels DT, I recieved my order (which by the way was posted SUPER fast), and couldn't help using some of my scrummy bits and bobs!

This is my 1st christmas lo ever.....I have an excuse I've only been scrapping just under a year hehe! As I was pretty busy when I did this lo I wanted to do something simple and easy...but still fun and special! It came together soooo quick...the only thing that took awhile was the drying time.....and I just left it over night!

Sooooo here's what I did......

1st I sprayed the Coredinations cs with Tattered Angel glimmer mist. Then I cut some rectangles and strips from the AWESOME Echo Park Everbody Loves Christmas range, which I distressed and inked then stuck to my cs. I mounted my photo on some Black CS and stuck it down.......

I stuck some My 2 Angels Star Bling onto the pp, cut around it, distressed and inked it, then drew some black lines to make the stars 'pop'. I attatched the stars to some funky twine along with some cool star charms and stuck it to my page.....

I popped on some very cute Echo Park alphas & AC Thickers.....

And just to try something different...instead of doodling a border with pen....I used Kindy Glitz to draw it instead!! I filled in the 'doodling' with Perfect Pearls..which I thought looked very shiny and christmassy!!

The whole LO took about half an hour....it was soooo easy!!

Fab News & Some Garden Goodness....

First of all i would like to announce.....drum roll please......I am on the DT for the most AWESOME Scrappy Shop.....My 2 Angels!!!! WOW...I was thrilled when Tracy asked my to be part of her FABULOUS team....even though my style is neither shabby or grunge....she still asked me.....YAY!!!!
I can't wait to start creating some lo's with the beautiful products Tracy has at My 2 Angels......So go on go check it out...you won't be dissapointed : )

And secondly......I have actually created a lo that wasn't for a challenge....I know.....crazy huh? lol This lo is of Elijah helping in the garden....thank goodness he LOVES to water the plants as I'm a very lazy gardener and have been known to kill unkillable plants......

Don't you just love that chippy from The Chip Chop Shop??? The little yellow mushies are spun cotton and you can get them from Caramelos : )

A bit of paper ripping and rolling and a gorgeous little ladybug pin from My Little Bit of Whimsy...

I am soooo in love with these YUMMY mushy buttons from The Chip Chop Shop.....

Oh and I don't know if you've noticed...I've been adding alot of very wonky machine stitching to my recent lo's...I have been asking my Hubby for a sewing machine for agggges....and have had my eye on a fab Jenome.....Well my wonderfully thoughtful Hubby proudly presented me with a $40 woolies teeny tiny sewing machine the other night.......God Bless his cotton socks......the shocking thing is it actually works a treat! I have informed him it will be good to use until he gets me a "Proper" machine lol.....not very grateful am I.....

The Boxx Fornightly Challenge!

I just HAD to have a go at this fortnights Boxx challenge as the FAB Miss Leanne Jago set it!!! The challenge was a good ol recipe : ) The criteria was: Use 2 pics, some fabric, some paint and atleast one chippy......and here's my take....

I made some fun paper curls and I covered a star chippy in blue masking tape then wrapped some awesome Chip Chop Shop twine around it...pretty funky I think.....

Challenge Rehab???

Hi....My name is Jess......and....ummm.....I'm addicted to.....challenges.

Yes thats right....I seem to be churning out the challenge LO's lately........Maybe my inner scrapper needs direction.....ooooo deep man......

Anyhoo here is my attempt at the Scrap the Boys challenge "Super Who". You have to scrap which super hero your boy would be or what super hero powers he would have....

I decided Elijah would be "Super Spunk Boy" he seems to totally charm any female he comes across......

Awesome Purple Pumpkin lollipop flower and tim holtz ribbon tape.....

Tied some fabric to the bracket.....

I misted some stars, painted and doodled them and put some awesome hambly over the top....

Yellow is the new Black!!!!

I so HAD to do White With 1's challenge this month.....The challenge is use the AWESOME colour yellow and journal directly on to your lo......I just LOVE yellow.......Hooray : )

I can FINALLY say.....

Yay! I can finally announce....I'm on the new DT at Challenge Heaven!!!!! I was soooo excited when Shell asked me. I love the challenges they are always AWESOME...and so many to try each month!
