Heya there Lubby Ladies!

I have been rather busy lately......not much scrapping going on here.....I've been sewing and painting up a storm for my market stall!

I'm so excited to have my own business "Rainbows & Whimsy". I will be selling colourful hair accessories, embellished canvas bags and mixed media canvases...aswell as other bits and bobs that I feel like making : )

I thought I would share a couple of pics of what I've been creating......

PLEASE tell me what you think....I am TOTALLY open to suggestions, constructive criticism etc!!!

Happy Days - Literally : )

I have a mini album to share with you today!! I've been promising my mum a brag book for agggggges.....and I have FINALLY got around to it. I think I was just waiting for the perfect paper range to come along!

The Echo Park - Happy Days just screamed out "Elijah" to me! It's fun, funky, happy and a little bit quirky....just like him : )

I got a SUPER cheap chippy album from kmart (about 3 bucks I think) and used mod podge to glue the pages onto it.....I then sanded around the edges with a nail file to remove overhanging paper & give it a cool look. I then used my Paint Dabber - Snow Cap White to go around the edges of the book pages and papers....love the affect it has!

To cover up the metal rings I tied  all different coloured ric-rac, my2angels design ribbon & some charms on them....pretty funky I think...

All the alphas I've used in this book are from the Echo Park - Happy Days Alpha Cardstock Stickers sheet or Thickers

A bit of ric-rac stitched to the photos adds fab texture but not bulk!

A bit of Hambly - Woodgrain Transparency used as a photo mat. I've doodled heaps to give a funkiness and to also create uniformity throughout the book!

Stitching around all of the photos gives texture!

The Echo Park - Happy Days range has so many awesome bits and bobs to cut out and stick on!

I matted the photo on a Ranger Manilla Tag, cut it to shape, stitched it then punched a hole in it! 

I have coloured all tags in the album with the AWESOME Distress Stains.....can't get enough of these babies...they have a bazillion and one uses!!

Throughout the book I have also put little "notes" about Elijah on Journalling Cards which I mod podged to Echo Park Card Stock 

And there you have it...one brag book for Grammy!!!

Scrap That Song!!!!

So today I have another challenge share with you......I have played along for the very first time at Scrap That Song

I Love that there are a few different songs to choose from.....and let me tell you it was a hard choice!!

In the end I chose LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem.....it's a have in our house!!

Tracy from my2angels an awesome box of goodies last week so I got stuck into it for this lo.....and here's what I came up with!

my2angels has some GORGEOUS new large roses in....soooo yummo!!!

Products Used: Echo Park Happy Days - Patterned Paper & Embellishments, Large Roses (white), Frosted resin flower (black), Glimmer Mist (marmalade), Bakers Twine (Teal & White).

Well Elo Elo Elo There!!!

First up I have some exciting news......I FINALLY GOT PUBLISHED!!!! I was so thrilled to find out a lo I did over a year ago is in the latest Scrapbooking Memories!! It's funny looking at it cos I have evolved in my style so much lol Oh and they put it in the spooks and ghouls section which is hilarious cos I really dislike anything Halloween related LOL But beggars can't be choosers.....sooooooo I am extremely grateful : )

Well I have been scrapping up a storm now I have a new computer : ) Well after a minor hiccup where I loaded some corrupt software (sounds like it's in the mafia or something LOL) and had to reload the whole operating system again......It's now back to business!!

I have sooooooo enjoyed being able to look at and comment on other peoples blogs lately....I REALLY missed it!

Anyhoo enough of the Jibber Jabber (you're thinking of Mr T aren't you)

Think websters pages is all about fussy cutting and pretty paper?? THINK AGAIN.....it can totally be funky.....the backsides are often pretty dang awesome.....and I love websters alphas stickers & the journalling cards......

How goes everybody today??

This month the AWESOME miss Rachael Funnell set a FAB sketch challenge at Stuff 2 Scrap.........

As well as using the sketch you have to use at least one butterfly, stitching & some chippy!!

I have used The Polkatdot Place - Bloomingdale kit.....these kits are ALWAYS freakin AWESOME!!!

I have used Leann's Sea Grass

Here I've used the brand new Sign Post chippy.....should be in the store very soon!

Heya guys!!

Guess what???

I FINALLY have my new computer.....It's a Macbook....I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! Oh how awesome it is......is it wrong to hug it??

Anyhoo I will be back and stalking blogs again....man oh man have I missed checking out everyone's awesome work.....can't wait to catch up  : )
