I was going to do the design myself but when I came across this gorgeous chevron design on ETSY by AngieMakesWebsites I knew that it was the one for me! Angie even installed it all for me.....you can't get any easier than that!

Paperdvizhnik Challenge # 21 - Crazy Face

It's official.....the creative juices are flowing and I can't stop scrapping!!!

Today I have a page to share that I've done for the Paperdvizhnik Challenge #21. The challenge is to scrap a "bad" photo. I have scrapped a photo of Elijah pulling a silly face.  It's near on impossible for me to get him to smile for the camera.....he much prefers to make crazy faces instead! But lucky I'm his mum and think he looks gorgeous no matter what faces he pulls :)

Righto, I'm off to start working on a new blog design.....it's been awhile since I've re styled my blog and I've got the itch to do it :)

BITW - Awesome Moments

Hey There :)

I have just been on a lovely family holiday to Margaret River! I have taken sooooo many photos & now I have the scrappy mojo flowing in full force...wahoooooo!!

This month's challenge at Bird is the Word is just perfect for a photo I took while on holiday. The challenge is to use the word "moment". I took a photo of my view while laying down chilling out in a hammock......it was such a quiet, peaceful moment. 

 I have used a few bits from a Piece of Cake Designs Kit and some other bits from my stash.

Here is my layout:

Scrapfriends Challenge.....

Aloha!

My poor wee blog has been so very neglected lately. I must admit when I get some time to sit down at my arty desk I tend to want to explore mixed media and paint canvases rather than scrap.....and for some reason I don't tend to share those pieces on my blog.....hmmmm perhaps I should start?

Every now and again I will see a great challenge or awesome sketch or fab tutorial that inspires me to get scrapping!

Sooooo a few days ago I came across this AWESOME sketch on the Scrapfriends blog and just new I had to try it.

I thought I'd play along with Creative Scrappers as I've never tried one of their challenges before. I did sketch # 244.......and I must say I LOVED it!

OUAS Guest Designer......

Happy New Year!!!!

Out with the old and in with the new :)

I have a scrappy share that I'm very excited about! I was thrilled to bits when I won THIS challenge at Once Upon A Sketch. I not only won a gift voucher for the most gorgeous shop The Trinket Track I also got to be a Guest Designer for January's challenge.......YAY!!!! I must admit to being a wee bit daunted as I find all of the dt's creations at OUAS so very amazing & inspiring. But it's good to challenge ones self right?

Soooooo this is the challenge:

The new year is among us. What better way to celebrate change, renewed hope and having a positive attitude than with a brand new year? A new start...a new horizon and the start of something new! A new year is full of possibilities. So in honor of the start of 2013, we would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "The start of something new..." however you like. Whatever that sentence inspires you to scrap then go for it.

Welllllll there we have it, I'm quite happy with how this one turned out. It's a wee bit crazy but I like it!
