I made a card!!

Yup thats right, I have actually made a card!!

I haven't made a card in years & I forgot how much fun they are to make.

I had no mojo for making a layout, but as it was my turn to blog over at Purple Pumpkin I needed to come up with something.....and a card is what I made! I think I will be making more as well :)

Design Team Call!

Did you know Purple Pumpkin is having a design team call?

Here are the details: 

We are looking for new Design Team Members!

It's that time again - time for our next DESIGN TEAM CALL!

Our current design team have done a fabulous job, and have created some beautiful projects. We think you'll agree that they have been AMAZING!! We'll be sad to see some of our fabulous designers go, but at the same time we're excited to see who'll apply to be part of our next Design Team!

We are looking for scrapbookers who love to do 'Project Life' style scrapping, and can incorporate our products into their pocket pages. We are also looking for a traditional scrapper who is also able to create sketches!

Do you love scrapbooking? Do you love blogging? Do you love PURPLE PUMPKIN EMBELLISHMENTS? If you answered YES, then we'd love to hear from you!

Here's what you need to do...

Email the following to sales@purplepumpkincrafts.com.au

* A brief paragraph about yourself, including your name and address, details of any design teams you are on (or have previously been on) and a link to your blog if you have one.

* 3 of your favourite layouts (if you are a sketch designer, please include a sketch that you have designed as well)

**If you haven't had a chance to use Purple Pumpkin embellishments before, you can still apply. Make sure you check out our shop HERE to see what sort of products we offer**

Design team members will be appointed for a period of 6 months, and in that time you will receive PLENTY OF PRODUCT to work with as well as a DT Discount on all purchases during your DT term. As a design team member you will be required to

* Incorporate Purple Pumpkin embellishments on your projects where ever you can, and promote them on your blog/facebook page etc.

* You will also be required to write 3-4 blog posts per month on the PP blog to showcase your work.

* Promote sales/giveaways etc.

* Provide a sample layout for our Monthly Sketch Challenge, and visit and comment on linked entries. (If you are a Project Life scrapper, you could use the sketch on a mini layout for PL pages.)

This Design Team Call is open to anyone, anywhere - International applicants are welcome to apply.

Entries must be in by Friday 29th November, with the new Design Team being announced on the 1st of December.

Also here are some of the AMAZING new chipboard at Purple Pumpkin!! How GORGEOUS are they!!

CSI case file #99 - You are my world gorgeous boy

Helooooooo there :)

How are you all going?

I have had a crazy fortnight, and haven't had much time for scrapping :( 

My wee shop Rainbows & Whimsy has been super busy with the Christmas rush and some exciting new wholesale orders! The orders have finally calmed down and I am now re-emerging my self back into the "real" world hehehe

Anyhoo today I have CSI case file #99 to share with you!

I love how the different colour combos of the case files force me to go through my stash and use things I normally wouldn't.....I think I'm making a dent (albeit a small one) in my stash!

CSI Case File # 98 - Quiet Time

Heya Lovely Ladies :)

Today I have CSI case file # 98 to share with you!

Wow what a challenge this case file was. Mostly because I only had one, yes ONE, piece of purple patterned paper in my whole stash! Thank goodness for my purple pumpkin goodies, they are so great for adding pops of colour to my layouts! I thought I would really not like scrapping with purple, but I totally did :) Once again I've gone way out of my comfort zone and found I really quite enjoyed it!
