Scrappers Challenge # 4 : Boy/Masculine page, min 1 flower, rhinestones, paint & at least 1 element/tool that we don't often use.
Well here's My take on the Challenge. It's called "Big Mack, Little Mack". I called it this as I wanted to do a layout that referenced our last name 'Mackenzie'. I used all Basic Grey pp's (June bug, Basics, Max & Whiskers). The tartan print pp was a great match as our last name is Scottish!! The hardly used tool I used was 2 punches....One for border of tartan and another for date circle.
Here is a close up of my handmade flowers. For the big flower I drew spots on a plain paper flower then outlined spots in black. I then cut a circle, distressed the edges and scrunched it up to give it texture. I attached the circle to the flower then place a button, which I threaded with string, in the centre to finish it off! For the smaller flower I twisted a length of masking tape then rolled it in a spiral to make a flower. I then attached a but, which I threaded with string, to the centre!
Here is where I used the rhinestones. I am LOVING masking tape at the moment so had to use that. Love my stapled ribbons too. Also used another masking tape rolled flower : )
And lastly a bit off doodling as the corner was calling out for me to "pretty" it up : )
Thanks for taking the time to have a sticky beak! Love and Peace : )
