Dt call & some news!

Hope everyone is going fantastically!!!

I have some news......

I will be leaving the my2angels team, this my last month. I have LOVED every minute of being on this awesome creative team. Tracy is such an awesomely AWESOME person, I feel so honoured to have been a part of the team. It has been my choice to leave as I am so busy with Rainbows & Whimsy, that I just don't have the time to give everything to the m2a team. I didn't want to do a so so job as that wouldn't be fair to Tracy.

Design Team Callout

my2angels is looking to re-new and re-fresh our Design Team.

 If you are a layout or card scrapper and think you have the time, energy and commitment to work as part of the my2angels inspiration sales-team, we welcome your application. 

Please email us via our website with links to your blog and facebook page and any online galleries - no need to create anything specifically for us - and we will email back with terms and conditions. 

Positions are for 6 months in the first instance, with the potential to continue. Previous experience in a DT is not necessary, however. our preference is that you are not currently working in the DT of an online store. 

Applications will be accepted until the 17th of June.

Oh what a delightful weekend it's been.......how was yours?

I have two pages to share. These are made from my dt goodies from my2angels.

I have got to have a play with the Echo Park - This & That Charming collection kit. Really love this range, especially love the wood paper & also the chevron print!

I've done two layouts but I could get at least three more done from the pack.

Here's my first layout "H is for Handsome"

Yes I'm still obsessed with rosettes and buttons.......

Products used: Echo Park - This & That Charming collection kit, The Crafter's Workshop Swiss Dot Template with I painted over with an Acrylic Paint Dabber in Pitch Black, Romantique Imagenne Cling Stamp, StazOn Ink Pad in Jet Black, Antique Bronze Circle Pendant, Brown and Blue Lattice Wooden Button, Yellow and White Spotted Acrylic Button, little wooden buttons that I painted with gesso then Glimmer Glaze in All That Jazz, Plaid Fabric Brad in Black and White, Glitter Brad in Blue, Charcoal Baker's Twine which I separated and used for stitching , Brown Kraft Tag, Tim Holtz Ruler Ribbon, AC Thickers.

Next up is "Posing at the Park"

Tracey sent me some great fabric, which isn't available in the store at the moment but will be available in embellishments packs soon. I used the fabric as the background instead of card stock and also to make a yo-yo.

Products Used: Echo Park - This & That Charming collection kit, Glimmer Glaze in Oil Slick, Green and White Spotted Acrylic Button with I distress with some sand paper, Plaid Fabric Brad in Light Blue and White with I coloured with Distress Stain in Broken China, Bakers Twine in Charcoal which I separated and used for stitching, AC Thickers,  Memories Charm.

An YES I once again used bits from some Boxx kits.....can't help it...they are just so darn good.....I also have a slight obsession with buttons and rosettes at the moment.......

Well I must get back to business....have some ice-cream to make!!

Hello there lubbly jubbly bloggy readers! I hope you've had a delightfully delightful week : )

I'm so excited to say, I now have my online shop up and running again! Now that I've got a whole bunch of stock made up, I can actually focus on building my wee business locally AND have an online shop. I think I may actually be getting the hang of the whole time management thing.

I've decided to use made it instead of big cartel as it's much easier for me and a lot easier for others to find.

I've been making so much bit's and bob's lately, and have so much more in the works!

I will be adding gorgeous shoe clips, ruffle bags, ruffle bloomers, embellished singlets & twirly skirts to my online shop in the next couple of months......I never thought I would say this but I LOVE sewing!

Here are a few goodies that are available in rainbows & whimsy:

These flowers were so popular at the markets! They are made with lot's of layers so they are gorgeous and full, they have a vintage doily centre with gorgeous pearl beads. the leaves are made from japanese linen and I machine stitch the leaf design on them. I hand sew all of the petals, doilies and beads on, and back them with lovely soft eco-friendly felt. REALLY love making these beauties : )

These pieces would be so fab for a photography prop! They are made with eco-friendly felt, lace ruffle trim, designer fabric, stripy ribbon & vintage buttons.......they really are fabulously whimsical!

I also have a range of hair pins.....I love these little cuties, I must admit I LOVE wearing them in my hair to add a touch of colour!
