WOWZERS what a bust month this has been! Where does all the time go???

I've got my mum and dad staying with as at the moment....it's been so nice! Haven't been online much as I've been having lot's of good quality family time. Elijah how gone to the park with his Poppa, so I though I'd quickly share my layout for Stuck?! Sketches March 15th Sketch.

And here is my Layout....I must admit this is the "neatest" "flattest" layout I've done for ages.....sometimes I'm such a lazy scrapper....if I don't have the supplies right in front of me then I won't use them! I'd just cleaned my desk before this layout...sooooooo it ended up quite clean and neat....which is rather odd for me lol

The acrylic buttons (My FAVE go to product) are from my2angels......

The coolio blue flower and some of the papers are from a kit from The Boxx.....

The yellow flower was given to me by the AWESOME Anita Tillman.....THANKYOU Anita!!!!!!!

Little Tag Book

Righto, have a little tag book to share tonight.

I made this a week or so ago for my hubby. He has been asking me for something for his desk for ages so I made a tag book for him : ) I did the fruits of the spirit as I know work can be stressful and thought it would be a nice little reminder for him!

As you probably already know I am on a mission this year to get through the bulk of my my2angels stash.....and as of yet, I'm not making any progress......maybe it's because I keep buying more stuff.......hehe

Soooooo here is the book.....I traced around a manila tag on to different pages of the Tim Holtz Ide-Ology Kraft Resist paper pad and punched holes in them then reinforced them with Tim Holtz Ide-Ology Reinforcers. I've also used the Echo Park "Happy Days" paper range.

Front cover supplies: Hambly Screen Prints transparency, spotted acrylic button, fabric plaid brads, thickers, baker's twine, adirondack paint dabbers.

"Love" supplies: Scrapware ATC frame, fabric plaid brad, glimmermist, crafters workshop template "chicken wire", distress stain, distress embossing powder, Jenni Bowlin chalkboard mini alphas.

"Joy" supplies: distress stain, thickers, Tim holtz film strip, black cotton lace no 2.

"Faithfulness" supplies: adirondack paint dabber, crafter's workshop template "numerals", thickers, black cotton lace no 2.

"Gentleness" supplies: distress stain, adirondack paint dabber, tim holtz film strip, white felt scalloped frame, twine.

"Self Control" supplies: ranger puffs embossing powder, adirondack paint dabber, crafter's workshop template "swiss dot", scrapware atc frame, acrylic spotted button, fabric plaid brad, blue scroll felt ribbon.

Passion Or Anger

Goooooood Friday to you and you and you!!!!

Hokey pokey I wanted to talk about something today.

Yesterday I had a day where I was filled with passion about the Kony campaign......that, over the course, of the day, gave way to anger! I was frustrated that people were so willing to be so negative about something I have always been so passionate about....Human Rights.

After pondering on my feelings when I went to bed, I got to thinking, This is NOT me, I do not like to put people down, I do not like to patronise, this is not the Love and Peace girl who digs Jesus and thinks Love of our fellow man is so very important.

So today I woke up and told myself, I am human, I make mistakes, I will forgive myself just as I forgive others. I will accept everyone's right to their own choices AND respect that!

I still am passionate about the campaign....but man I'm passionate about so many things, it's part of who I am! But I WILL NOT be the angry mean girl, that is not me. 

Let me know what you guys think? Do you ever feel like your going against yourself and not being true to who you are??

Sketch it up!!!!

How Exciting...

My first "Official" Sketch for Stuck?!.........LOVIN these sketches so very much!!!

The thing I love about the sketches is they are so adaptable......

So here is the March 1st Sketch......

I used two same size photos & added more layering!!! OMG I am so thankful to my husband for getting me a printer for my birthday. Being able to edit, then print my photos straight away is all sorts of FAB : )

I've gone for one of my fave colour combo's.......Yellow and Black.....Seriously......if I'm ever stuck with what colours to use I pick black and another colour....works every time!

I must say......I think I'm pretty addicted to the White Scalloped Edge Felt Frame.......one felt frame goes a long way as I cut it up!!!!

LOVE Such Sweet Tierney buttons......they are just gorgeous!!! Unfortunately I think the shop is closed!! What a bummer hey.....

I'm so digging saving tags from Elijah's clothes...some of them are just so darn tootin funky.....

Acrylic Buttons & Plaid Brads are pretty much a staple on a Jess page as well!!!

Announcing an Announcement......

Sooooooo remember when I said I had a wee announcement?? Do ya??? huh huh huh???

I'm on the Stuck?! Sketches Creative Team!!!!

I'm so very excited.....I can't believe the gals I get to be on the team with...I mean, they are just so FAB!!

If you read my blog you probably know I left 2 design teams last year. Not because I didn't like the teams....they were awesome.....but because I was in a wee creative funk & also needed to focus on my business and family more. After a break, I've found that I'm totally ready to tackle challenges again. The Stuck?! sketches are PERFECT for me, they get my mojo happening every time. SO very thankful to be on the team!!!

Sooooo here is my application layout.....

Can't wait to blow this photo up to billboard size on Elijah's 21st birthday....mwhahahaha.....

See that AWESOME Denim flower?? See it?? Do ya??? Wellllllll the FABULOUSY FABULOUS Miss  Anita Tillman gave it to me!!! If you haven't joined her blog yet....DO IT...seriously.......DO IT NOW.....her blog is a plethora (cool word hey) of scrappy goodness : )

Once again I've used a chopped up White Scalloped Felt Frame....seriously.....I have a wee addiction to these!!

I also am totally digging Spotted Acrylic Buttons & Coloured Daisy Charms.....cos, well, ya know.......I LOVE daisies!!! The Plaid Brad's are always on my have list....plaid is rad! The Red Pearls are fun.....love the colour.
