I thought I would give this weeks "His Room" palette a go : ) I never really use orange so this was a great challenge to push me out of my comfort zone!

The Boxx Fornightly Challenge!

This Fornight the challenge at the Boxx was to scrap about ourself....sooooooo this will be the second lo I've done of me this month.....don't worry I'm not an egotistical maniac....welllllll I hope I'm not..........tee hee hee...ok enough of the crazy here's my lo....

The journalling reads "After suffering full on depression there is one thing I know for sure.....And that is....We are all ok....There is ALWAYS hope ". The Title reads "If I could tell the world just one thing it would be we're all ok" (Jewel).......depression is such a black hole, that quite often it seems as though it won't end, and there is such a stigma about it, it doesn't mean your crazy, it means your HUMAN. There is a HUGE shining light at the end of the tunnel and we all deserve to get to that light : )

My First Scrap the Boys Challenge!

I have been stalking Scrap the Boys for quite awhile now.....sooooooo I thought I would actually enter a challenge finally! This One is Challenge 2 : "devil is in the detail" - fabric. Love this challenge as I always tend to use some sort of fabric : ) I had alot of fun with this one....

Some flowers.....The chicken pebble is Basic Grey, the piggy button is Lil Red Rocket, the doily is The Chip Chop Shop & the polka dot flower is Purple Pumpkin

Scrapware Fence & The Chip Chop Shop Birdy pin. I used red gingham fabric and tied it around pp and the fence........

I seem to have a thing for wrapping twine around chippy brackets.......

I couldn't help adding this in......soooo goes with the title and photos hehe

I haven't done much scrapping lately.......my mojo was having a break!!! Today I actually did a lo woohoo!!!!! Not sure if the mojo is back in full swing but hey at least I'm trying lol : )

I did a lo of me as I felt like doing something a bit more girly.....think this is the simplest one I've done for ages!

The Boxx Fornightly Challenge!

This is my go at The Boxx fortnightly challenge! I haven't done a boxx challenge for awhile so it was good to get one done! For this challenge we had to do lo about a time of change or upheaval in our lives....I chose to scrap about when I met my GORGEOUS hubby as it was such a turning point in my life : )

I think I'm a bit over listing everything I use on a LO....it's a bit of a mission lol...ask me if ya wanna know about anything : )

Here it is.....and yes this is the 2nd time in a week I've used this colour combo....what can I say I really like these colours.....

Challenge Heaven October Challenge : Song

Today I managed to get another lo done : ) This one is for Challenge Heavens October song challenge. For the challenge we had to use a song from a childrens movie for the title. I used "Zip Ah Dee Doo Dah" from the 1946 disney movie 'Song from the South". I love the song....it suits the photo of Elijah at the park...he was having a great time!

I'm a bit tired...... so I'm not going to list all the bits I used....feel free to ask me if you want to know about anything I used : )

Challenge Heaven October Challenge : Themed

Here is my take on the CH October Theme Challenge. The theme was birthday's and the challenge was to use a photo with a cake in it......I kept this lo bright and funky : )

I used MME (alphabet soup - twinkle,twinkle), Jillibean Soup (monster stew - 2 tbsp slime), Bella Blvd (hello beautiful 9 thanks a bunch) & Sassafras Lass (me likey - dig in) pp's, AC Thickers, Carolee's Creation tiny alphas, Creations Elements chip bracket, Lil Red Rocket fabric button, Doodlebug Designs buttons, Luminarte Shimmering Mist, The Chip Chop Shop doily, DMC thread, Bakers twine, Masking tape & Fabric.....

Soooo here's my LO : )

The Chip Chop Shop doily...well half of one anyways hehe

Title....I sprayed the bracket with yellow shimmering mist and wrapped bakes twine around it...

My gorgeous cake eating boy!!! I matted the photo on fabric wich I had frayed...

My first Colour Room Challenge!

I FINALLY got some scrapping done! Woohoo! I've been admiring the gorgeous palette's and lo's at The Colour Room for awhile now.....so I thought I should bite the bullet and do one myself : ) I loved this pallette sooooo much. I am pretty pleased with how my lo turned out aswell....not too bad for my first go I think!!

I used My Mind's Eye (Meadow Lark - Dusk & Dawn), Basic Grey (Max & Whiskers - Bubbles & Lime Rickey - Cherry Cola) pp's, AC Thickers, Cosmo Cricket tiny alphas, Purple pumpkin Robot button, BG rub-ons & basic trims & label, Collections Elements butterfly cut outs, number cards, & chip bracket, Paper Inklings chip birdy, Bo Bunny ribbon, Prima roses, tattered angel glimmer mist, Tim Holtz distress ink and paint, MME Alphabet Soup border & Fabric.........I handmade the rolled fabric flower and the robot button flower.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Well we all arrived home yesterday......exhausted cos we have all had a virus!! Eli is a bit out of sorts cos he's a "routine" kid so it will take a couple of days for him (and me) to get back into the swing of things.
Have been told from our dog sitter, neighbours and our real estate agent that our darling dogs have escaped numerous times. They have been digging holes under the fence into our neighbours yards and then escaping to the beach......I don't know how ruby even gets under the fence as she's quite rotund hehehe Kinda reminds me of a big wombat I think lol....Anyhoo enough of my ramblings......I can't wait to get stuck into some scrappy pages with all my new bits and bobs!!!

Oh and I miss you BOXX!!! PLease come back soon!!!
